DIY Signal Generator Kit

I soldered a digital oscilloscope. Now I need a device to generate signals. Let’s produce a cheap signal generator kit for this very purpose. In addition, I’ll need a function generator to produce square or sinewaves for testing in my lab.

The heart of the circuit is the XR2066 – A high-quality waveform generator IC.

Apologies for the potato quality

I have yet to test the accuracy and robustness of this kit.

I like the addition of the jumper to adjust the frequency range and desired waveform.

The output signal is available via the 3 pin terminal block. The project features 3 potentiometers. Amp, fine and coarse.

Frequency is selected via the jumper. 1 – 1MHz is available. This is split into 5 categories.
