The LEDs are REALLY bright

WS2812B LEDs are digitally addressable RGB LEDs. Each RGB LED comes in a small 5050 package with 4 pins:

  1. Vin
  2. GND
  3. DIN
  4. DOUT

Daisy-chaining is easily done by connecting DOUT to the DIN of the next LED.

You can purchase WS2812B LED’s in strips, matrices or rings. In this particular kit, the LEDs are arranged in a ring. Pressing the button in the middle alternates between different animations. The datasheet is available below
